Zgodbe, ki nas povezujejo

Za naše učeče se odrasle smo ob zaključku leta pripravili Erasmus+ srečanje na temo medgeneracijskega in vseživljenjskega učenja. Združili smo skupini učečih se odraslih starejših od 55 let. V zahvalo, da so z nami delili svoje spomine, izkušnje in opažanja, smo povabili naše pripovedovalce zgodb, ki smo jih zabeležili v sklopu Erasmus+ projekta Razvozlajmo medgeneracijsko uganko INTER-PUZZLE. V zgodbah smo zabeležili, kako so ljudje živeli v Slovenskih Konjicah in Zrečah nekoč, kako je potekalo delo na kmetiji. Naredili smo zapise o čebelarstvu, vinogradništvu, o šolanju in delu nekoč, o praznovanju in ljudskem petju, in še več. Po predstavitvi, smo udeleženci delili svoje vtise o projektu. Poudarili smo pomen ohranjanja in beleženja dediščine ter prenašanja tradicije in znanj med generacijami, ki je v današnjem času še bolj pomembno in potrebno. V projektu so nastale zbirke zgodb iz 4 EU držav, skupno smo zapisali 100 zgodb. Na podlagi teh so nastali materiali in gradiva za medgeneracijsko povezovanje in učenje. At the end of the year, we organized an Erasmus+ meeting for our adult learners on the topic of intergenerational and lifelong learning. We brought together two groups of adult learners over the age of 55.As a token of appreciation for sharing their memories, experiences, and observations with us, we invited our storytellers, whose stories we recorded as part of the Erasmus+ project “Solving the Intergenerational Puzzle” (INTER-PUZZLE). These stories document how people used to live in Slovenske Konjice and Zreče, as well as how farm work was carried out in the past. We recorded accounts of beekeeping, wine production, education and work in the past, celebrations, folk singing, and much more. After the presentation, participants shared their impressions of the project. We emphasized the importance of preserving and documenting heritage, as well as passing on traditions and knowledge among generations, which is even more relevant and necessary today. As part of the project, e-booklets with 100 stories of peopel aged 55+ from 4 EU countries were created. Based on these, materials and resources for intergenerational learning were developed. Domoznanstvo in medgeneracijsko povezovanje

Local studies and intergenerational cooperation

Medgeneracijsko učenje in domoznanstvo sta bili temi srečanja, ki je bilo organizirano v sklopu Erasmus+ projekta Razvozlajmo medgeneracijsko uganko INTER-PUZZLE. Zaposlenim v splošnih knjižnicah smo predstavili rezultate našega Erasmus+ projekta: 100 zgodb starejših od 55 iz 4 EU držav, medgeneracijsko igro s karticami ter učne liste. Srečanje je bila odlična priložnost za povezovanje, pogovor o izzivih na področju domoznanstva ter priložnostih, ki jih ponuja Erasmus+ program. Pridružile so nam se: Splošna knjižnica Slovenske Konjice, Knjižnica Ivana Potrča Ptuj, Mariborska knjižnica in Knjižnica Josipa Vošnjaka Slovenska Bistrica.

Intergenerational learning and local heritage were the themes of a meeting organized as part of the Erasmus+ project Solving the Intergenerational Puzzle (INTER-PUZZLE). We presented the results of our Erasmus+ project to public library employees: 100 stories from individuals aged 55+ from four EU countries, an intergenerational card game, and educational worksheets. This event was an excellent opportunity for networking, discussing challenges in the field of local heritage, and exploring the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program. Representatives from the following public libraries attended this event: Public Library Slovenske Konjice, Public Library Ivan Potrč Ptuj, Maribor Public Library, and Public Library Josip Vošnjak Slovenska Bistrica.

Partner meeting – Portugal

This partner meeting was our final F2F partner meeting in our project. We met in Evora from 19 to 20 September 2024. It was an opportunity for all the project partners to analyse and review the activities completed so far. The intergenerational workshops that have been carried out so far were discussed. All project partners agree that the workshops carried out so far had been successful and have brought something new and good to their organisations.

We aslo discussed all the necessary task to complete before the end of our project at the beginning of next year.

We learned about the adult education system in Portugal. We also learned what activites adult learners enjoy most at Universidade Sénior de Évora. They organise history classes for their seniors and some of them had been attending these classes for almost 10 years. Seniors can participate in a variety of activites: drama, languages, philosophy, art, history, chess, etc.

Project partners visited FRAJAL – Federation of Youth Associations of Alentejo. We learned about the organisation of work of this association and the issues that the young face nowadays. They had recently redecorated and restored their space and now provide numerous activities for young, as well as a safe space and different kinds of support for the young. The importance of establishing and maintaining good connections with the older generation was stressed and it was pointed out that this was something that needed to worked on constantly and consistently.

We walked through the streets of Evora listening to the stories about important events and people of Evora. We learned about the rich and colourful history of this ancient city. We learned about the traditions and cultural heritage. We also visited the Evora public library which is one of the oldest and richest libraries in Portugal.

It was really nice to see all the project partners again in Portugal.

Partner meeting in the Czech Republic

Project partners met for their F2F meeting in Olomouc, the Czech Republic from 7 – 8 May 2024. This was an oportunity for project partners to review project activites completed so far and to plan and prepare the next project activities.

Quiz cards were tested and tried as well. It was educational and entertaining. Quiz cards present one of the outputs of our project INTER-PUZZLE. Quiz cards can be used by educators as an icebreaker or as a class/lecture activity, at a team building event, for language learning, interesting reading activity or a group of friends or a family can play this game during a holiday. The possibilites are numerous. 

This partner meeting was a great oportunity to learn more abou the adult education system in the Czech Republic so a visit to the University for the Third Age in Olomouc (presentation of programmes was organised where the participants could find out more about the activities for participants and their participation in formal and informal programmes of the university.

Project partners aso visited Národní pedagogický insitut České republiky, where they were greeted by the director of the institute and had an informative visit on the topic of adult education.

Olomouc is quite interesting historically so project partners had a chance to explore this city and learn about the local customs and traditions.
